Atlantic Tape & Packaging (ATP), a leading distributor of packaging equipment, packaging and facility supplies headquartered in Peachtree City, GA, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Amerisource Custom Packaging, a custom box manufacturer and specialty packaging distributor based in Carrollton, TX.
Established in 1995, Amerisource is an ISO certified manufacturing facility that specializes in custom boxes (Jumbo, full color, die-cut) to support its customer base located in the DFW area and nationally. In addition, Amerisource offers a wide range of products including custom wood crates, hazmat packaging, foam packaging and inserts, full color boxes, and retail displays as well as services including a robust kitting and fulfillment operation, packaging design, real time inventory management and an online ordering system. Amerisource’s current Vice President, Joe Berrera, will be leading the New Business Unit of ATP.
ATP is a national supplier of packaging supplies, equipment and facility supplies to customers of all types across all sectors. The deal has closed, and integration planning is already underway.
